KARACHI, Oct 24: Two ships carrying diesel oil and LPG were berthed at Fotco Oil Terminal and EVT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday. In the meantime, two ships with containers and edible oil also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy stood at 67 per cent as six ships, Anna-A, Lion Princess, Aonoble, Suzanne, Gas Fortune and Difko Hanne, were busy in loading and unloading wheat, jute, sugar, chemicals, LPG and diesel oil.

A cargo volume of 55,748 tons exclusively comprising imported commodities including 46,932 tons of diesel oil and 4,379 tons of wheat was handled.

Sailing was also active as Suzanne and Gas Fortune left the port while Difko Hanne was due to depart. Four ships, Oocl Authority, Bow Pride, Captain P. Egglezos and Tian Da, were awaiting their berthing turn at the outer anchorage.
