THE enrollment drive is going on in full flow to bring back to schools the children who were forced to leave due to various reasons. While the intentions of the government are good, and need to be appreciated, the timing of the drive is not quite right because the country is going through the deadly third Covid wave.
Four education officers have died of Covid in Faisalabad already. The government should postpone the drive until normalcy is restored or the situation gets under control.
