THE Dera Ismail Khan district has somehow remained invisible to the eyes of those at the helm of affairs as far as any development planning is concerned.
In the 21st century, people still have to walk miles to fetch drinking water. People still collect rainwater in ponds which is then used by both the humans and the animals. It is no wonder that waterborne diseases abound in the area.
The misery of the people deserves to be paid attention to by the authorities.
