Dravid ready for new responsibility

NAGPUR, Oct 20: Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid on Thursday said he was ready for the new responsibility and was also looking forward to Sachin Tendulkar’s return to international arena from a lengthy injury lay-off.

“I am keen on playing alongside Sachin,” Dravid told reporters on return from Australia via Mumbai.

He expressed confidence India would win upcoming series against Sri Lanka if the team played to its true potential.

The first of seven one-day internationals against Sri Lanka will Be held here on Oct 25.—PPI
