LAKKI MARWAT: The police recovered three mutilated bodies in Saddakhel locality of Bannu district on Monday.

On information from locals, a party of Domel police station reached the area and recovered the bodies, an official said, adding no one could identify the bodies as they were badly mutilated.

The officials said unknown killers had buried the deceased in the area after killing them. He added locals spotted the bodies and informed the police.

He said the police shifted the bodies to a rural health facility where they were kept for identification purposes for several hours after fulfilling the medico legal formalities.

The municipal administration officials took the bodies for burial.

The Domel police registered a case against unknown killers under relevant sections of law and began investigation.
