PESHAWAR, Jan 22: The anti-smuggling squads of the Customs Collectorate, Peshawar, seized huge quantity of smuggled goods and three non-duty paid vehicles from different parts of the Frontier province during the last one week.

According to a press release issued by the Peshawar-based Customs authorities, the items seized between Jan 13 to 20, included foreign cloth, motor engine oil of the Iranian origin, spare-parts of automobiles, timber from Afghanistan, cigarettes and three non-duty paid vehicles. The confiscated vehicles included a truck, a latest model car of Toyota make and a Hiace.

The goods were seized from Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Nowshera, Dera Ismail Khan and Kalaya near Kohat. A total of 17 cases of seizures were registered by the customs’ anti-smuggling squads.
