New episodes of Ertugrul are also airing this Ramazan, announced Senator Faisal Javed Khan.

An undisclosed Pakistani show is going to be dubbed in Turkish and broadcast in Turkey soon.

Senator Faisal Javed Khan announced the news on Twitter and said it was part of "bilateral exchange of knowledge, ideas, talent and content between the Pakistani and Turkish entertainment industries".

He didn't reveal which show was going to be dubbed but people had some suggestions.

Meray Paas Tum Ho was a contender

So was Ehd-e-Wafa.

This user wanted some oldies, like Alpha Bravo Charlie, to be dubbed.

Alif was one of the suggestions.

Some people had multiple suggestions.

Senator Khan also announced that PTV would be showing new episodes of Ertugrul throughout Ramazan at 7:45pm.

The Ertugrul series is a great exhibition of culture and Islamic faith — an amazing journey through the phenomenal Turkish history, he wrote.

The series has 179 episodes and so far, the TRT Ertugrul by PTV YouTube channel has 70 episodes up.

We should have a liaison on the subject with the Turkish Embassy, which should suggest better subjects from our dramas.

I don't why people think of culture and religion as the same, when people to the same culture can and do have different faiths.

How about Tanhiayan or Uncle Urfi? No current play can compete these evergreen plays .

Ashfaq Ahmed's plays in the series "Aik mohabbat so afsanay" had universal message about the nature of love. Having watched scores of international movies, I think these plays easily meet the world standard and should be introduced abroad.

Don't waste your time on 'Tum merey pas ho" kind of stuff, as Turks are way more westernized and moreover in no way represents Pakistani cultural values . Please.

@Texan exellent choice. I did not watch this drama because I just could not bear to. I heard about it and it's too heartbreaking. It is also an important part of Pakistans history and sacrifices for the partition

We need to promote our dramas in the muslim world, especially the gulf as indian bollywood garbage is flooding these countries and promoting vulgarity and anti Pakistan nonsense.

Poor Indians trying their best to attach themselves to Pakistanis by hook or by crook, insecure in their own self. Only country that forces itself on others. Wonder why?

In my opinion Ehd e wafa should be dubbed because it is related to our army and patriotism and friendship bond

We haven't got a single series worth dubbing and airing in some European countries. Make some different stuff, in which the rich cultural and historical background of love country should be depicted, and then get it aired.

Most of the popular Pakistani dramas are far too backward and regressive to get an audience in westernized Turkey.

I look forward to seeing Turkish reaction to our dramas as Turkish culture and ethnicity is far removed from Pakistani culture and Pakistans own diverse ethnicity. No blood or cultural relation. That doesn't mean we ant appreciate each other's TV shows. Just don't show them dramas from past 1-2 decades. No saas bahu joint family zalim admi bechari larki always crying women resigning all to fate instead of aiming their faith.
