KARACHI: The decomposed body of a female owner of a beauty parlour missing for the past several months was found on the outskirts of the metropolis on Saturday, police said.

The Anti-Violent Crime Cell of the police had detained a suspect identified as Mohammed Abbas.

During investigation, the suspect revealed that the woman had been killed.

On information extracted from him, the decomposed body of the woman identified as Aziz Akhtar, 55, was recovered from a farmhouse in Jokhio Goth.

She had gone missing around six to seven months ago when she was on her way to her beauty parlour in Gulshan-i-Hadeed, said a police spokesperson.

The police were investigating the case.
