I SENT a letter to a defence organisation in Rawalpindi by registered post on Jan 21 and it was delivered back to me in Karachi after 10 days.
Apparently the post office had some problem locating the address. Instead of calling on the phone number that was prominently written on the envelope, some wise guy added ‘GHQ’ to the address, and then struck off the word ‘Rawalpindi’ and instead wrote ‘Islamabad’ and ‘Sihala’. Finally, they decided to send it back to Karachi. Amazing!
