LAHORE: Prime Minister’s wife Bushra Imran on Monday visited Panahgah near Data Darbar and inspected facilities being offered to the destitute, who were earlier compelled to beg for food and sleep on city footpaths.

Accompanied by Farah Khan, the premier’s wife spoke to people present in the Panahgah and asked them about the quality of food and living conditions. She herself tasted the food being offered to people.

She also asked them about their problems and assured them that their problems would be resolved on a priority basis.

The people there said the quality of food and living conditions at the facility were good. They said the facility was like a home and they were grateful to the prime minister.

Mrs Imran directed the Panahgah management to further improve the quality of food and living facilities. She said the Panahgahs would soon be issued funds for repair and maintenance.

She also asked all the departments concerned to ensure all facilities at Panahgahs.

Responding to a media person’s question at the Panahgah, she said there was always a wife behind a successful man.
