SUKKUR: The bride who had dodged her family members, in-laws and other guests to slip away from her wedding party on the way to her husband’s home on Saturday was produced before a civil judge, who ordered she be sent to Darul Aman.

The nikah of Pervaizan Khatoon with Qadroo Bugti was solemnised in Naar Minor village of Kandhkot-Kashmore district. While the wedding party was passing by a police station in Tangwani on the way to the groom’s village, she got the vehicle carrying the wedding party stopped on the pretext of vomiting. Leaving all the people behind, she slipped away and went to the police station and reported that she was forcibly married off to Mr Bugti.
