ISLAMABAD, Oct 12: An aftershock of moderate intensity was felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other cities at 1:24am on Thursday. Meteorological Department sources told Dawn that it was also felt in Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Peshawar, Dir, Mansehra, Swat, and Azad Kashmir. The magnitude of the aftershock was 5.5 on the Richter scale, the source said. Frightened people of the twin cities came out of their houses in panic.
