KARACHI: Five horses are in contention for the Gene­ration Cup which figures prominently in a six-race card that has been drawn for the winter Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi racecourse on Sunday.

The Generation Cup, a hand­icap race for three and four-year-old Pak colts and fillies, is the fifth race in racing order and will go over five furlongs.

The sixth and last race which is the day’s feature event, scale order I and II will also be contested over similar distance of five furlongs.

A pair of unknown pedigree bay horses — Non Stop and Gabbar — will make their debut on Sunday.

The first race starts at 1.30pm.
