Trade team for Geneva

ISLAMABAD, Jan 21: A three-member official delegation will leave for Geneva on Tuesday to attend Pakistan’s second trade policy review, an official source told Dawn on Monday.

The trade policy review organized by WTO, will be attended by secretary commerce, Mirza Qamar Baig; Adviser to finance ministry, Dr.Ishfaq Ahmed Khan and member customs, Dr. Manzoor Ahmed.

The Pakistan trade policy will be discussed in WTO’s general council meeting, scheduled for January 23 to 25. The major participants in Pakistan’s trade review discussion would be United States, European Union, Japan and India, the official said.
