DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two teachers of the Government Girls Degree College No 2 here on Monday tested positive for coronavirus, who were quarantined in their houses.

With the increase in positive cases of Covid-19 across the country, the number of infections is also surging in Dera Ismail Khan.

After detection of the two positive cases, the college administration said the authorities concerned had been informed about the development, and that rest of the staff and students would also be asked to have Covid tests done.

The college administration claimed that Covid-19-induced SOPs were being strictly followed in the institution.

Meanwhile, the district administration has requested the parents of the students studying in the college to ask them to wear masks and adopt other necessary precautions to avoid further spread of the virus in the institution.
