LAHORE: Two women died and a minor girl was injured when a mini-truck hit a motorcycle in Harbanspura on Sunday.

Police said Shehzad, 32, his wife Shazia, 30, daughter Khadija, 4, and mother Nasreen, 50, of Harbanspura were going home when a speeding mini-truck hit their motorcycle near Dayal House on the Canal Road. The motorcycle-riders lost their balance, fell down and were run over by the vehicle.

The injured were shifted to hospital where Shazia and Nasreen could not survive while Khadija was said to be stable. Shehzad remained unscathed.
