From a small town girl in Bareilly, to Miss World 2000, Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women, her own music album and a career in both, Bollywood and Hollywood, Priyanka Chopra Jonas also just finished writing her memoir.

Titled Unfinished, the book is an insight into the actor's struggles throughout the years, the ‘in-between interviews’ of her life, the public version versus her own story.

"I’ve always been private about my struggles which I will discuss in the book," she said, revealing that the ironically, the memoir was named years before she actually started writing it.

"Having been a public person now for 20 years, with so much life to live and a long list of things to check off my list personally and professionally, I am very much unfinished," said Chopra, as she spoke about the content of the book.

"The funny thing about writing a memoir is that it forces you to look at things differently, reconciling so many things you thought you had put to bed."

Discussing the highs and lows both in her career and personal life, she also admitted being driven by curiosity, having the intrinsic need to constantly evolve and move forward at all times.

"I have taken many leaps of faith, often times when I was advised not to... and even when I too was afraid," said the Quantico actor.

"Some risks paid off, some didn’t (my life is not a fairytale, although I do hate to lose...c'est la vie), but what I learned during this process is that I have never shied away from change, or forced guilt on myself for leaving something unfinished if that’s what my evolution as an individual required."

Acknowledging her roots, Priyanka also revealed how the focus would be her life and its transformation from rags to riches.

"I’m a small-town girl who had dreams and aspirations bigger than I was supposed to have", she declared in an interview with Times of India. So with my story, I hope the reader understands the resilience and grace under fire that is needed to chase their dreams."

That is a lot of venting for someone who silences other people from doing the same while promoting conflict between nations.
