DERA ISMAIL KHAN: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday issued a contempt notice to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa home secretary Ikramullah Khan for not producing the suspects arrested from former Fata under the now defunct FCR laws.

ATC judge Inamullah Khan ordered him to appear in court on Nov 10.

After the merger of Fata with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Peshawar High Court had ordered the persons arrested under the FCR laws to be produced in the lower courts.

The cases of 35 suspects were heard in the Dera ATC, of which, 20 people have already been released, while 15 have so far not been produced in the court.

The court issued the notice under section 37 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.
