FHSK refunds

Published October 18, 2020

THIS is with reference to my letter regarding Fazaia Housing Scheme Karachi (FHSK) (April 4, 2019) and the advertisement published by NAB Karachi office (October 10) which asked the affectees to apply for refund.

It is painful that the verdicts passed by relevant courts have simply touched the issue of ‘refund’ without identifying the culprits. Besides, the investment of the affectees have been blocked for several years in Pakistani banks, and someone must have earned huge profits against that pile of investment, while they are refunding just the invested amount. This is really a negative outcome that might have repercussions on the credibility of national institutions.

I had invested my entire earnings after retirement from government service to have an honourable accommodation for myself and my family. I do not have the resources to fight for justice. I request the highest offices in the land to intervene.
