NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Security forces killed two terrorists and arrested another during an operation near Mirali in North Waziristan tribal district on Saturday night, officials said.

The Inter-Services Public Relations, the media affairs wing of the military, said that security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Khaisoor area near Mirali. During an exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed and another was arrested. Those killed were identified as Bilal alias Abu Nasir and Ihsanullah alias Pir.

Officials said that one soldier, Arif, got injuries in the gun battle. He was taken to a hospital in Miramshah.

Security forces conducted an operation in the Boya area near Afghan border on Friday.
