QUETTA: The central executive committee (CEC) of the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) has vowed to make Balochistan a developed and prosperous province.

During a CEC meeting which was presided over by Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani here on Thursday, its members said that BAP would be made a strong and stable party of the country.

They reposed trust in the leadership of CM Alyani. BAP’s founder Syed Saeed Ahmed Hashmi, chief organiser Mir Jan Mohammad Khan Jamali, secretary general Senator Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, federal and provincial ministers and party’s MNAs and MPAs attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed various issues regarding improvement and amendment in the party’s constitution, organisation of the central and provincial executive committees, organisation of the party, intraparty elections, election management, election cell, rules and regulations about party discipline and formation of accountability committee.

The participants expressed their views in detail and gave various suggestions for improving the working of the party and the government.
