KARACHI, Sept 22: Six ships carrying steel cargo, crude oil and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Celtic Terrier to offload palm oil, Glorious Sund to unload and load general cargo, Hyundai Highway, Elbe Oldendroff, Pretty Flourish, and Kuo Hung, with containers.

Six vessels, Thor Captain, APL dalian, Bunga Delima, Aziza, Nrowar and Pangani departed, while Glory-C, Gloriosu Sun, Global Express, Malakand, Kuo Hung and Cargo Enterprise are due to sail out on Friday.

A total of 55,901 tons cargo comprising 11,705 tons of export including 2,437 tons of rice and 900 tons of cement and 44,196 tons of import cargo was handled. The following ships are due on Friday; Swat, Shalamar with crude oil, Corin Thaikos, Lykes Racer, Iran Kordestan, with containers, Darya Raag, and Atlantic Express, with steel cargo.
