HYDERABAD, Sept 20: A five-day national seminar on “advances in plant sciences” will be held at the University of Sindh on Wednesday. The programme is being organized in collaboration with the Pakistan Botanical Society and jointly sponsored by the Pakistan Science Foundation and the University of Sindh.
Prof (Dr) S. I. Ali, former vice-chancellor of the University of Karachi, will be chief guest at the inaugural session.
The seminar will be attended by 200 scholars from universities, research organizations and colleges from all over Pakistan.
They will share their research findings on advancement and importance of natural plants.
MUET: The Pakistan Engineering Council has approved two new programmes Telecommunication Engineering and Software Engineering of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology for accreditation from 2001-batch.
The graduates of 2001-batch of both disciplines have been advised to apply for the PEC registration immediately.
