APROPOS the letter ‘PMS candidates’ (June 15) wherein I wrote about 59 candidates recommended by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) for the posts of Provincial Management Service in the Services and General Administration Department.

All these recommended candidates were waiting for their joining, although their recommendations were made by PPSC on Jan 21, 2020.

I am happy to share with readers that the authority concerned has responded positively and we joined the service on July 2.

I thank Dawn for publishing that letter, perhaps as a result of which the joining process was expedited.
