MANSEHRA: A local court on Thursday handed over former provincial minister Ibrar Hussain to the police on a two-day physical remand in a murder case.
Mr Hussain had allegedly opened fire over a land dispute in a jirga in Ghazikot area here on Tuesday killing PTI leader Zeeshan Arif.
He was produced in the court amid tight security.
The DSP said the police had arrested the former minister in Abbottabad and produced him before judicial magistrate Syed Wahaj Ali Shah, who remanded him in custody for two days.He said the police had also arrested two guards of the accused, who were presented in the jirga.
The two were also produced in the court.

The body was taken to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, whose doctors handed it over to the family after meeting medicolegal formalities.Mohammad Ramazan complained to police that his brother-in-law, Mohammad Usman, with the help of his brother killed his sister.
The police arrested the accused after registering an FIR.
Meanwhile, the Torghar district police have finalised security plan for Eidul Azha.
Officials said police officials would be deployed outside mosques, while all entry and exit points of the district would strictly examined.
