IT is deplorable to see our minister for aviation washing dirty linen in public, causing great discomfort and setback to the nation, job losses to a large number of pilots, otherwise working fine in foreign countries (most of them having valid licences), besides the loss of the country’s prestige and reputation built over decades in aviation industry.

There is also a huge loss to the nation of foreign exchange which these pilots were contributing to our home remittances.

Which country in the world doesn’t have a few rotten eggs in all the industries, but they are screened out through a rightful process. Making it public is like axing our own feet.
