SUKKUR: Two cattle traders were killed and another two persons were injured in a head-on collision between the four wheeler they were riding and a truck near Nau Kot village of Ghotki district along the National Highway on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Ghulam Bozdar, a resident of Sohanjro village, and Shah Ali Loond, a resident of Yaroo Loond village. Sabir Bozdar and Mohammad Afzal Larik were injured in the accident.

Police said that the victims had boarded a Dastun pick-up from near Mirpur Mathelo and intended to go to cattle market in Daharki.

The bodies were handed over to the heirs after a post-mortem examination at the Mirpur Mathelo Civil Hospital, where the injured were admitted for treatment.

Police have impounded both the vehicles.
