TAXILA: Two houses were robbed in the jurisdiction of Burhan Police Station. The armed robbers fled with gold ornaments, cash and valuables worth millions of rupees.

According to sources, armed robbers entered Mohammad Riaz’s house, located a few yards away from the police station. Allegedly taking all family members hostage at gunpoint, they stole cash, gold ornaments and other valuables and escaped after locking the family in a room.

The same group of robbers later entered Nazakat Khan’s residence, in the same locality and locked all family members in a room. They stole valuables worth millions of rupees and fled.
