ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) on Tuesday stated that grants last week released by Pakistan Sport Board (PSB) will be utilised for training of the players.

According to a press release issued by PNF, the grants released by PSB on the direction on Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) minister Dr. Fehmida Mirza is a timely step to help sports federations of the country.

“We are thankful to Minister Dr. Fehmida Mirza for special grant for Netball Federation at critical time. We are hopeful in future too, the PNF should be given grant on the basis of performance,” the statement said.

The PNF on last day of the closure of financial year 2019-20 had been given Rs1million grant by the PSB. Besides, PNF 15 other sports federations were also given grant on the final day of outgoing fiscal year.
