TOBA TEK SINGH: Four persons of Usmanpura locality of Shorkot Cantonment and Chak 327/GB tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday.

A health department official said the throat and nasal swabs of the patients were sent to Faisalabad Allied Hospital lab and the reports received on Sunday confirmed that they were Covid-19 positive. After the reports, the patients, including a 90-year-old woman, have been admitted to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital.

As many as 504 people have so far tested positive for the Covid-19 in the district and 236 of them have recovered from the disease. Eight patients of the coronavirus died. Of all the patients, only 10 were under treatment in hospitals of the district while all the remaining were self-quarantined at their homes.

SHEIKHUPURA: Six people were diagnosed with the coronavirus in Nankana Sahib.

According to the reports, all the six patients with symptoms of Covid-19 were brought to DHQ hospital Nankana some days back.
