ABBOTTABAD: Seven people, including four women, were killed and nine suffered injuries when a jeep fell into a gorge in Havelian area here on Thursday.

The jeep was bound for Lora village from Battangi village.

The police said the jeep carried mostly relatives, who were returning from a local shrine.

They said their personnel and the residents shifted bodies and the

injured to the regional health centre, Havelian.

Some of the injured were shifted to Islamabad’s Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences and Abbottabad’s Ayub Medical Complex due to critical condition.
