LAHORE: The Punjab primary and secondary healthcare department has stated that 1,322 new coronavirus cases have been reported from across Punjab, including 924 in Lahore alone. The total number of coronavirus positive patients has reached 74,202 in the province.

According to the data released by the department on Sunday, 17 more patients died from coronavirus taking the total death toll in the province to 1,673. Among others, as many as 66 cases were reported from Multan, 65 from Gujranwala, 47 from Faisalabad, 34 from Sialkot and 30 from Gujrat.

PIMA: The Pakistan Islamic Medical Association has announced “PIMA Virtual Covid Health Line” in view of the growing number of patients and the lack of health facilities.

Speaking at a press conference here on Sunday, PIMA centre president Prof Muhammad Afzal Mian and PMA Lahore president Dr Ashraf Nizami said lockdown should be implemented in all major cities for two weeks with a two week gap, ordering strict and mandatory social distancing and use of masks.
