DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted by her father in Bagwani Shumali area here.

An FIR was registered at the Paharpur police station under section 376 of PPC against the suspect on the complaint of the victim. The police are raiding different areas for his arrest.

The victim visited the police station along with her mother and maternal uncle, and stated that her father assaulted her the other night when her mother had gone to the residence of her brother. She alleged that her father threatened her of dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anyone.

Meanwhile, body of a 16-year-old boy identified as Younas Marwat was found at Nala Deszai area of Kulachi tehsil.

Mohammad Aslam Marwat, father of the deceased, told the police that his son had gone outside for herding cattle, but did not return. He added that his son’s body was later found at a deserted place. He said he had no enmity.
