After appearing on Good Morning Pakistan for promotions, the cast of Mera Dil Mera Dushman which includes Naveed Raza, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

"There must have been a carrier on set," explained Raza, who told Images he had "pushed everyone else towards getting tested".

Recently, the star has released a video to share his symptoms, to help his fellow actors detect the disease earlier on.

"I felt a lot of dehydration, body cramps and headache the first day,” he revealed. "The second day, weakness and fever added to these. I didn't feel throat ache or flu (though other people have and these are also common symptoms. The third day again, I contracted fever, headache, weakness and body cramps but I got tested and thankfully, am not showing as many."

Raza further warned the industry and requested them to be careful before resuming shooting.

"Before going on set, directors, producers, actors, everyone should discuss symptoms with one another. If you're even a little doubtful, please get yourself tested so you don't infect other people if you're a carrier. This is the only way we can protect each other."

"Even if you follow complete SOPs, it will be difficult to save yourself if an infected person is on set," he added from personal experience.

"Please forward this to one another, understand, and notice these before starting work. That is the only way to help and take care of one another."

Being on set was the biggest mistake. It was a simple violation of the lock-down principle.

I really find it hard to sympathize with people who subscribe to stupidity and deliberately seek out risks like doing talks shows in time of social distancing. What part of Covid-19 and social distancing don't you understand? The show hosts and participants need to be fined nd the show shut down. Do you show via webcam from your safe homes. Just like the world is doing. Is money and fame important or your life?

asymptomatic are those who have no symptoms. He has all those Primary covid symptoms. Education is more important for people. SD and mask will help them in reducing the risk.
