ISLAMABAD, Sept 8: The Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) on Thursday announced its squad for the 13th men’s Asian Volleyball Championship being held in Bangkok this month.

The team for the Sept 20-27 championship is led by Irfan Nawaz with Muhammad Ehsanullah as his deputy.

Pakistan play their first match against Qatar on Sept 20 and take on Kiwis the following day.

Meanwhile the game’s international governing body, FIVB has allotted a teachers’ volleyball course to PVF which plans to organise the event from Sept 9 to 15 at the Pakistan Sports Complex.

The course to be conducted by Iran’s Khosrow Ebrahim will have 35 participants.
