KHUZDAR: An eight-year-old boy was killed and his father was seriously injured when their motorcycle hit a landmine planted by terrorists in Dasht-i-Goran area of Kalat district on Tuesday.

Officials of the Levies Force said that Dilshad Sasoli was going to his village along with his son Zubair Ahmed on a motorcycle, when near Parwad area, their motorcycle hit a landmine planted by the terrorists.

As a result of the blast, Ahmed was killed on the spot while his father was seriously injured. Members of the Levies Force rushed to the area and took the injured and the body of the boy to Kalat district hospital.
