NBP female branch managers

KARACHI, Sept 5: National Bank has so far appointed 25 female branch managers and plans to induct 100 more by the end of this year, NBP President Syed Ali Raza said here on Monday. While inaugurating the High Value Certificate Course on Effective Branch Management for the newly appointed lady managers, he said the NBP had taken several initiatives for empowering its female workforce. He told them the bank has received AASHA award for gender sensitive management in recognition of these initiatives.

Head of Human Resources of NBP Dr Mirza Abrar Baig gave an overview of how the bank was upgrading its human resources, said a press release.
