School fee hike stayed

ABBOTTABAD: The Peshawar High Court’s Abbottabad Circuit Bench has suspended the 10 per cent fee increase made by the Abbottabad Public School.

The bench comprising Justice Ahmed Ali and Justice Shakeel Ahmed ordered the school’s management to stop charging an extra 10 per cent fee from parents, after hearing the arguments of the parents and the school management.

Earlier last month, the school’s board of governor had increased the fee by 10 per cent.

The decision was challenged by the parents in the PHC’s circuit bench.
