Arif for Malawi

KARACHI, Aug 31: Former international and double SAF Games gold medallist, Arif Khan is due to leave for Lilongwe, Malawi on Thursday to conduct International Table Tennis Federation Level-I coaches course.

International Olympic Committee is funding the course.

Arif is the only certified ITTF course conductor and trainer in South Asian region. During his two months stay in the African state, he will train and coach their national senior and junior teams as well as their coaches.

“It’s a great honour to be picked for conducting the course in Africa,” he said on the eve of his departure.—APP
