NOTWITHSTANDING varying edicts from some Muftis I offered the last Friday prayers in my neighbourhood mosque. I am 81 years old and docs have specially warned me to desist from going to the mosque where the faithful came without masks. Some of them sneezed and did all unhygienic acts while praying in congregation. Allah knows more than any doc because deaths do not come according to medical degrees obtained from famous medical colleges of the world.

Death is an enigma and defies medical science, so does the advent of coronavirus. The real truth is that after death we will be remembered for acts done for humanity e.g. aid to poor. Only the Quran of all sacred books says that if you give money to the poor Allah would be the debtor who would repay the loan as if it were. No sacred book says that God becomes a debtor when someone renders monetary help to the needy which means God would repay the loan when one gives to the poor, needy and orphan. What a loan and who is the debtor i.e. Almighty Allah! Repayment is guaranteed. Try it.
