LAHORE: Within a day of implementing all grocery and general stores’ new timings from 9am to 5pm, the Punjab government on Wednesday reviewed its decision and allowed keeping milk and yogurt shops open till 8pm.
The review decision was taken at a meeting chaired by law minister Basharat Raja and attended by the chief secretary and the IGP. The law minister says the decision has been taken to facilitate the masses.
The medical stores and pharmacies are already exempt from observing closing timings.
