DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A man allegedly killed his teenage daughter and nephew for honour here on Wednesday, police said.

The incident took place in the city’s Taj Colony, and a case was registered in the Saddar police station under sections 34/302 of the PPC.

An uncle of the deceased boy nominated father of the girl in the case. He said the girl’s father along with unknown accomplices axed the boy, also his nephew, and his daughter to death suspecting him of having illicit relations with the girl, 15. The complainant said the boy was staying at the house of his uncle at the time of the incident.

Meanwhile, hailstorm damaged standing crops and orchards in parts of Dera Ismail Khan and the adjoining South Waziristan tribal district on Wednesday.

Residents said heavy rains followed by hailstorm lashed Paharpur tehsil in Dera and various areas in South Waziristan, badly damaging chickpea crop and fruit orchards.
