LAHORE, Aug 28: As many as 16,708 candidates appeared in the entrance tests for admission to various undergraduate courses in the province’s 11 public and one private university here on Sunday.

The 80-minute test in Lahore was conducted in a peaceful manner at the University of Engineering and Technology, but many parents of the candidates, particularly girls, complained about poor arrangements.
