BankIslami recently bagged four prestigious awards in a ceremony organised by the National Forum for Environment and Health.

The four categories in which the bank won awards were Biodiversity, Employee Engagement and Volunteering, Education and Scholarship, and Green Energy.

With its contributions to a sustainable future, the bank tries to stay at the forefront when it comes to giving back to the society.

Adhering to their core belief, the team at BankIslami has taken a number of initiatives, which include:

  1. Introduction of biometric, cardless technology via their 'one touch banking' feature, which allows free, chequeless transactions to customers.

  2. 'Share to Care' initiative, where the team spent a day with children at Edhi home.

  3. Supporting education by awarding international scholarships to students, especially for Singapore.

  4. Energy conservation as they have solar-powered more than fifty percent of their branches.

These continuous efforts have rewarded them with the honourable recognition at the prestigious NFEH’s awards.

The team at BankIslami continues to tap more opportunities to fulfil its corporate social responsibility in the present year. The Islamic bank holds 330 branches in 114 cities around the country and is an advocate of eco-friendly living.
