Talking to newsmen here on Saturday, MPA Ayaz Soomro and the district president of the PPP, Larkana, and the ADP candidate for the slot of nazim of the union council-11, Nisar Ahmed Shaikh, alleged that Asad Kharal and Imtiaz Kharal started firing toward the stage of the corner meeting in Khalique Colony late on Friday night.
The candidate in his complaint stated in the FIR that the accused had disturbed the corner meeting by firing when MNA Anwar Bhutto, Nazir Bughio, former district naib nazim of Larkana, and others were sitting on the stage.
He said that empty bullet shells were collected from the site of incident but police had not made any arrests.

The PPP leaders alleged that the government was determined to rig the polls adding that the PPP would foil all its nefarious designs.
They alleged that the ASP City had received a phone call at the Dari police station from the chief minister’s house where, according to them, police were instructed not to lodge FIR against government allies.
They alleged that the SHO of Haidri police station, Jani Shah, was harassing PPP workers and supporters for which telegrams had been sent to the election commission.
Late on Friday night some unknown miscreants disturbed the corner meeting of the ADP-backed candidate for the post of nazim, Nisar Ahmed Shaikh, in Khalique Colony.
When the Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly, along with Nazir Ahmed Bughio, Aftab Bhutto, president of PPP, Larkana City, and Allah Bakhsh alias Dado Unnar, arrived there, some shots were again fired.
“Why don’t you go after the persons who had indulged in firing, Mr Khuhro asked the ASI on duty. He (ASI) replied that officers had been informed and they were just arriving on the site.
As the corner meeting was disturbed, Khuhro left the site. Later, ASP City and police reached the scene.
The eyewitnesses told this correspondent on the spot on Friday night that prior to the arrival of Nisar Khuhro, two masked men resorted to extensive aerial firing standing near a Wapda pole. They later escaped.
