Twitter is livid after Meray Pass Tum Ho's finale

Betrayal, heartache, tears... this was more Twitter than the show itself.

After a long, long spell, Meray Pass Tum Ho has come to an end.

The drama's two-hour finale aired on Saturday, simultaneously being screened in major cinemas, with many flocking to see how the show comes to an end. And the flock was not happy.

Spoiler alert: Danish (Humayun Saeed) dies.

Considering Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar's previous work, it shouldn't have come as a surprise but people had hopes and aspirations and they did not enjoy this odd turn of events. There was more betrayal, drama, tears and heartbreak among fans than in the drama itself.

After the finale, this is how the writer justified the heartbroken lead's death.

Was this good enough for the audience? Doesn't look like it, as many turned to Twitter to share their thoughts.

This drama was trying to make the concept of a woman cheating and coming back after she couldn't go ahead with her plans ,acceptable norm in our society and the other females siding with her was even more alarming showcasing that its ok and she should be forgiven just like a man is on his betrayal.

Bad ends They should have showed Danish happily married to the teacher and Mahwash suffering Not very impressive drama

Could have been ended better. Danish was the loser throughout without any fault of his, first he lost his wife and then his life. Have yet to see a a patient gasping for breath, talking to his son, with no attended around..

How did he managed till the last episode? He should have died when the wifey was getting married to somebody else..or when having an affair..so many prior reasons to die of throughout the drama..

Meray Pas Tum Ho, did not have a climax but an anti-climax. And I am not referring to Danish getting killed, although that didn't make any sense either. But the boring last 2 episodes ccombined mostly a 1 hour long soliloquy by danish were a disgrace. if i had paid for one of those very expensive (i hear) tickets at the theater to be served with this, I'd be madder than hell and want my money back.

Most funniest sad Scene was on cardiac heart reading was a straight line but Danish kept on talking and telling his son to look at straight line on monitor. Khaliq sahib made a medical history......
