PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has said that serious steps will be taken to resolve the basic problems and issues of the people of Abbottabad district besides ensuring speedy completion of development projects.

He expressed these views during a meeting with KP Assembly Speaker Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani and MNA Ali Khan Jadoon at the CM House, Peshawar.

The chief minister said that solid steps would be taken to ensure delivery of all facilities and basic services there, according to a statement issued here. He said that provision of basic facilities and staff in hospitals, schools and other institutions would be ensured. He said that the government was trying to utilise all the available resources to make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a model province.

Says problems of Abbottabad people being resolved

The chief minister stated that several reforms had been introduced in the institutions of the province which would improve service delivery to the public. He said that steps would be taken for the overall development of the province. He stated that the country as a whole would soon be put on the path of development and prosperity and the people would soon feel relief.

He said that PTI was fulfilling all the promises it had made with the people. “We have never compromised on our manifesto and vision before and will not do so in the future,” he said.

The provincial government has taken initiatives and empowered the institutions on priority basis to eradicate corruption and ensure merit.

He said that the PTI government had made a long-term plan for the overall development of the province. He said that the government had introduced the system of public service in the true sense.

The chief minister reiterated that his government was striving for the welfare and social development of the people. He said that the government was taking practical steps to ensure the delivery of better services to the people. “Our struggle to achieve the goals of development will continue,” he added.

Mahmood Khan said that uniform development of all districts would be ensured. The development of Abbottabad was the priority of the government for which practical steps were being taken, while transparent completion of ongoing projects would be made possible at any cost.
