TOBA TEK SINGH: The body of a missing minor boy was found in a nullah at Chak 291-GB, Lahorianwala, near Rajana on Sunday.

Abdul Ghaffar, the father of two-year-old Abdul Mateen, called ht eRajana police and complained that his son was missing.

The police reached the village and they were searching houses in the street when someone informed them that the body of the child was seen in the nullah.

Later, the locals reported that they had seen the boy playing near the nullah and he might have slipped into it and drowned.

ROBBERY: Robbers took away cash and valuables worth more than Rs2m from the house of a farmer at Chak 330-GB.

Chuttiana police said five robbers broke into the house of Muhammad Afzal in the wee hours of Sunday. They tied up Afzal and other family members with ropes and locked them in a room. They took away Rs850,000 cash, gold ornaments worth Rs900,000, a motorcycle, mobile phones and other valuables.
