Unilever appoints new chairman

KARACHI: Unilever Pakistan Ltd on Thursday appointed Amir Paracha as chairman and CEO effective from Feb 1.

He replaces Shazia Syed and is currently the vice-president for customer development and sales at Unilever Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Syed has been appointed as the Executive Vice President for Unilever’s global tea business, based in the Netherlands.

Easypaisa pairs with Airlift

KARACHI: Easypaisa, the digital payments platform by Telenor, has partnered with Airlift, the smart bus service, to offer its customers cashless transactions, said a press release.

Reckitt Benckiser gets new CEO

Karachi: Reckitt Benckiser, the consumer health and hygiene giant, has appointed Kashan Hasan as the new CEO for its Pakistan business with immediate effect. Kashan has been associated with RB for the last 12 years,

He has served in various leadership roles in Pakistan, UK, South Africa, Egypt etc and most recently was Middle East and North Africa’ Regional Sales Director for Hygiene Home business.
