This refers to the news item ‘Couple injured as train hits car’ (Jan 11). It is obvious that trains move on fixed tracks. It is not the trains that hit the vehicle but the irresponsible drivers who come in a train’s path. By reading the report and the headline, it seems that it is being claimed that the train was responsible for the accident and not the car.
